I'm wondering if you have come ...Hello Bonnie,

I'm wondering if you have come across anyone with this particular 'symptom' in your kundalini researches. For the past year I have had an almost constant sensation of vibration in the base of my spine. Sometimes it moves up the body, and I have felt it in the chest at times. When it all started a year or so ago there was a lot of heat but that tends not to happen now. I meditate for 20 minutes most days (and not very well!) and have learnt Reiki in the past. I'm very interested in Kundalini and have felt drawn to read about it. This vibration doesn't seem to be going anywhere..and there aren't any other symptoms....It can be quite powerful. Just wondered if you'd heard of someone else with this happening..Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14858848345441268350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21069437.post-46260079472369354872010-11-24T05:05:08.227-08:002010-11-24T05:05:08.227-08:00Thanks,

what i have been watching and noticing ...hi bonnie,
what i have been watching and noticing with westerners is that many, many in recent years are doing one of the following or a combination of all:
1- many people are taking yoga (either kriya or kundalini) with the single purpose to awaken their kundalini.
2- many people are practicing pranayama breathing.
3- many people are becoming energy healers (reiki, qi qong, light language, etc).
however, the vast majority of them are doing no spiritual work to supplement this, which leads either to a dangerous kundalini awakening that hurts them mentally, emotionally and/or physically--what i call spiritual K-crisis, or they experience a brief K-awakening that soon afterwards leaves them because they have do not do any spiritual work. Another reason is that their 'ego' attaches itself to the brief K-awakening which of course will not allow their awakening to grow. Add to this the lack of not a having a True spiritual teacher to guide them and it accounts, in my opinion, for the many discrepancies. i also believe that how the term enlightenment/god-realization is currently defined in the west seems to be always in flux, or rather to say there appears to be no firm consensus. i have also come across people who are spiritually awake (they have had a full-blown K-awakening), and have either just the k-knot in their 3rd eye open, or just the k-knot in their heart chakra open and wrongly interpret this to, along with any mystical/spiritual inner experiences they are having, to mean they are enlightened when in fact they are not.thomashttp://www.onthepathom.comnoreply@blogger.com
